Role overview
Permanent night-shift rolling-stock maintenance role at Salisbury Traincare Depot. Service, repair and overhaul traction units and components; undertake electrical and mechanical inspections, fault finding, servicing, train preparation, depot protection and directed shunting. Four-on/four-off nights, 19:00-07:00. Electrical/mechanical workshop experience, Personal Track Safety, DC electrified-lines knowledge and shunting rules competence required. Advertised base pay £37,123 plus £542 annual regional allowance.
