Lead Technician

Role overview

Full-time, on-site Lead Technician role in the production team at Stoke Gifford Depot, Bristol. Service, inspect, fault-find, maintain and repair Hitachi Rail rolling stock; undertake planned and unplanned maintenance, component replacement and technical defect rectification, support in-service failures and reliability improvements, mentor colleagues, maintain SAP records and follow safety and quality procedures. HNC or engineering apprenticeship/NVQ Level 3 in mechanical or electrical engineering required, together with relevant maintenance and fault-finding experience.
