Mobile Maintenance Fitter (Retford/Wakefield)

Role overview

Permanent Mobile Maintenance Train fitter role on Network Rail-owned trains, based in Retford or Wakefield with UK mobile duties. Maintain, inspect and repair diesel, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and basic electrical systems, support operational shifts and complete maintenance records. Requires a Level 3 mechanical or engineering qualification, full UK driving licence, ability to work days, nights and weekends, and residence within one hour of Retford. No prior rail experience is required; full rail training is provided. Five-week roster averaging 40 hours per week.
