Employer title: Shunter Driver. Southeastern is accepting applications for future vacancies at Ashford, Gillingham and Grove Park. This is an external-entry safety-critical train driving pathway involving shunting/driving units, route setting and train preparation. Successful candidates are enrolled on the Shunter Driver Apprenticeship Programme leading to a nationally recognised qualification. Full vocational training is provided. Applicants must meet Southeastern's depot travel-distance rules and age requirements.
