We are looking for a proactive and experienced Safety Validation Manager to lead and strengthen safety governance, assurance, and compliance activities across the business. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and improving our Safety Management System while supporting major change and project activities across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Maintain and manage the register of all change activities in line with Safe Management of Change procedures Liaise with project teams and responsible managers on delivery and change processes Drive Safety Management System maturity using the Office of Rail and Road RM3 Model Conduct assurance checks on key suppliers and contractors Manage the legal register and ensure legislative compliance across the business Lead safety assurance activities to ensure standards and procedures are effectively implemented Verify actions and recommendations from incident investigations Act as Subject Matter Expert on legislation and industry standards impacting safety systems What We're Looking For Strong knowledge of railway safety management systems Experience in safety assurance, validation, and compliance Understanding of CSM RA and risk assessment processes Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Ability to influence and challenge constructively Strong analytical and organisational skills
